City of Edmonton Negotiations Survey

Posted on 10/13/2021

Attention CSU 52 Members of the City of Edmonton:

Your Negotiations Committee is preparing for negotiations and we need your input. To do so, we are conducting a survey.

We ask that you take the time to complete the survey as we need to hear from as many of our members as possible so that we enter the negotiations process well informed and with real examples of issues that our Members are facing.

The survey must not be completed during regular working hours – please use your own time before or after work, or during your scheduled work breaks. The survey is smartphone compatible.

If you wish to review the Collective Agreement prior to completing the survey, please see the CBA page.

Accessing the Survey

Before you use the below link, which will direct you to the survey page, you must have an existing CSU 52 web account to be able to sign in (i.e. only City of Edmonton members with a CSU 52 web account can access the survey page).

You'll have until 11:45 p.m. MDT of Friday, October 22, 2021 to complete the survey. After this time, the survey will be disabled.

It will take an average of 12 minutes to complete. If you exit the survey without completing/submitting it, you will lose your answers and will need to restart the survey.

Survey now closed

NOTE: The survey may temporarily be down for responses due to Survey Monkey's planned site maintenance, scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2021, starting at 9:00 a.m. MDT and may last until 1:00 p.m. MDT.

If you are unable to complete the survey during this scheduled site maintenance, please come back and try again after 1:00 p.m. on October 16 (or on another day prior before the October 22 deadline).

Negotiations Updates

In order to receive future bargaining updates, each member must have a CSU 52 web account. Below are instructions to set up your account if you have not yet done so.

Setting up Your CSU 52 Web Account

The following two criteria must be met in order to set up your web account:

  • You are an active dues-paying member (or currently on a short term/long term leave of absence)
    • Note: For new members, it may take up to 2-3 weeks to appear in our membership database
  • You have provided our office with a personal (non-work) email address

Steps to set up your account for the first time:

  1. Please provide our office with a personal (non-work) email address by:
    1. Emailing [email protected], or
    2. Phoning (780) 448-8900 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
  2. After your email has been entered into our membership database, go to the Sign In page
  3. Select the "Forgot username?" link located below the Sign in button (do not choose the "Forgot password?" link; this will not work for an initial setup)
  4. Enter your email address which our office now has and select Submit
  5. You should receive an automated email within a few minutes (be sure to check your spam/junk folder)
  6. Follow the link in the automated email to set up your password
