Questions to Ask Candidates at Your Door

  1. What are your thoughts on the Reimagine Services project?

    1. What programs and services would you cut/protect?

  2. What are your thoughts of contracting out, outsourcing services, and privatization of public services?

  3. How would you address the current management bloating? Would you strengthen front-line workers who perform the work? How would you engage employees?

  4. How would you improve transparency between the Executive Leadership Team and Council?

  5. How would you improve relationships between the City of Edmonton and the Civic Unions that represent workers?

One last thing...

Let us not forget about getting politically active at the provincial level. The Alberta Federation of Labour (AFL) is organizing and connecting people all across the province. Click here if you are interested in joining a community action in your area.

The next community action is taking place on Saturday, October 9th. As our hospitals are over capacity, surgeries are being cancelled, and more schools are facing COVID-19 outbreaks, we need our government to take the actions that will keep us safe. Come to one of these "drop and go" events to leave your message and remind them you are paying attention and that you want them to represent you.

Masks and social distancing are mandatory as we wish to keep the event safe for everyone.
