September 2023 Shop Steward Training Session (Assembly)

Shop Steward Assembly Meetings are open to all Active Members of CSU 52. Meeting topics are educational based, relating to union and labour relations matters. Meetings are intended to be interactive where possible, and will foster relationship building between Shop Stewards.

This session will be on discipline and the investigation process, and the grievance procedure and fair representation. We will be joined by a Labour Relations Officer who will walk us through these processes, discuss the role of the Shop Steward, followed by a Q&A.

This event will be hybrid - choose to attend virtually via Zoom or in person at the Union Office (20 available seats). For either attendance option, please register through your CSU 52 web account.

Attending in person?

Enter the CSU 52 building through the rear entrance where there is free parking. This is the back of the building facing west and can be accessed via the alley lane between 112 Street and 113 Street. The Large Boardroom is located on Level B (basement).
