EPCOR Memorandum of Agreement Ratified
The following joint communication was issued on October 14, 2025
This information is intended for CSU 52 members and for Managers who oversee unionized staff falling within the CSU 52 Bargaining Unit. This update has been jointly issued by the Company and the Union. The purpose of this communication is to provide an update on the progress of negotiations.
The Memorandum of Agreement reached through collective bargaining has been ratified by both the Company and the Union on October 10, 2025. The effective date of the new Collective Agreement for wages will be December 18, 2024 and all other terms will be effective the date of ratification.
The collective bargaining took place over the past six months and the negotiated terms reflect the interests of both parties.
The parties are currently in the process of developing a first draft of the final 2025 – 2027 Collective Agreement for review and proofing by both parties. In the interim, a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement is available on the EPCOR intranet (or at the bottom of this page).
Information for Managers:
Detailed information sessions for Managers will be scheduled through October & November 2025. Further details for these information session are to follow.

Retroactive Pay Dates
November 7, 2025:
Active Employees (includes employees on leave)
January 30, 2026:
Former Employees (resigned or retired between December 14, 2024 and October 10, 2025)
Except for retirees: Per article 7.02(b) of the Collective Agreement between CSU 52 and EPCOR, former employees eligible for retroactive pay must apply in writing to EPCOR Payroll at [email protected] by December 9, 2025. Be sure to provide the following details:
- Full Name
- Employee Number
- Home Address
- Direct deposit banking information, if different than when you were employed with EPCOR
Former employees who retired between December 14, 2024 and October 10, 2025 do not need to apply and will automatically receive retroactive pay (article 7.02(c)).
September 26 - Bargaining Update #8: Tentative MOA Reached

This information is intended for CSU 52 members and for Managers who oversee unionized staff falling within the CSU 52 Bargaining Unit. This update has been jointly issued by the Company and the Union. The purpose of this communication is to provide an update on the progress of negotiations.
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, a tentative settlement was reached. The parties have signed a Memorandum of Agreement that, if ratified by both the Company and the Union, will form the new Collective Agreement. Both parties will be recommending ratification to their respective principals.
The collective bargaining took place over the past six months, and the negotiated terms reflect the interests of both parties.
Information for Employees
- CSU 52 has scheduled a MOA Information Session on October 6, 2025 with ratification to be completed by October 10, 2025 (see below for full details).
Information for Managers
- More detailed information sessions for Managers will be scheduled once the agreement has been ratified by both parties. Details for these meetings, including dates, times and locations will be provided soon.
The Company and the Union have agreed NOT to release or discuss the terms of the tentative settlement prior to the above Union Information Session and Ratification Vote. Please see the MOA linked below.
Please respect this by NOT asking your bargaining team members about collective bargaining until the information session.

Eligible voters were sent a ballot email invitation from Simply Voting <[email protected]> to their personal email (the address that receives CSU 52 e-News messages).
October 10 - MOA Ratification Vote Results
Thank you to all EPCOR members who attended the information session, reached out with questions, and participated in the ratification vote held October 7-10. Members have voted to accept the Memorandum of Agreement with EPCOR for the years 2025-2027.
The terms outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement are now in effect. It will, however, take some time to update the existing Collective Agreement to reflect these changes. Once the updated version is finalized, it will be posted on our website.
As mentioned during the information session, EPCOR will require some time to process retroactive wage adjustments. Updates on the implementation timeline will be shared through our website and e-News as soon as they become available.

The Union does not share the actual ratification percentage. There was a significant turnout of members and it was a clear and undisputed majority vote.
