City of Edmonton Unit Negotiations Update

Posted on 6/2/2021

The CSU 52 City of Edmonton Collective Agreement expired in December 2020, and remains in effect until a new agreement is ratified. Your Negotiations Committee has started preparations for the next round of negotiations.

In the past, CSU 52 held information sessions to get an idea of our members' priorities for bargaining. This time, the information sessions will be replaced by focus groups. The information we gather from the focus groups will help us to create the bargaining survey that we will send out to all of our members. Members who are selected for the focus groups will be invited to engage with the Negotiations Committee and/or complete surveys.

The invitation to sign up for focus groups will be sent out next week. The Negotiations Committee will then review submissions to select a diverse group of participants to represent our membership. Members selected for focus groups will be contacted by the end of June.

In order to receive future bargaining updates, each member needs to claim their account in the Union's new database, which is linked to the website. To be eligible to participate in a focus group, claiming your account is mandatory. Below are instructions to claim your account.

Thanks,
