Posted on 11/28/2024
Three Things to Know
- The parties met on November 21st and 26th.
- Discussions included workplace investigations, new classifications, lateral transfers, posting and filling vacancies, promotions, new employee orientation, and hybrid work.
- Both parties have a number of takeaways to review prior to bargaining in December.
Meetings Recap
We were to meet with the Employer on November 19th, however the meeting was cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. Non-monetary discussions continued on November 21st and 26th and included a number of both parties’ proposals, such as workplace investigations, new classifications, lateral transfers, posting and filling vacancies, promotions, new employee orientation, and hybrid work.
Our committee views the discussions to be productive and both parties have some takeaways to review prior to returning to the bargaining table in December. Our committee will be meeting on December 9th to do our review.
We are committed to securing fair outcomes on these important topics, and non-monetary discussions will continue December 10th, 12th, and 17th. Our next communication will take place following the session on the 17th.
Thank you for your continued support.
What's Next
