COE Bargaining Update #3

City of Edmonton Members,

Your Bargaining Committee finalized proposals based on your feedback from the Bargaining Survey and the September 25, 2024 Unit Meeting. We served notice to commence bargaining to the City on September 5, 2024, and are happy to report the City responded quickly, confirming a 10-member team with nine meeting dates scheduled for 2024.

The first meeting starts on October 10, 2024, where the exchange of proposals will take place.

We are hopeful these developments are a positive sign that both parties are ready to move forward with the bargaining process.
