Shop Steward Assembly Meetings are open to all Active Members of CSU 52. Meeting topics are educational based, relating to union and labour relations matters. Meetings are intended to be interactive where possible, and will foster relationship building between Shop Stewards.

FEB 20 UPDATE

In this month's session we will explore and practice our organizing skills when it comes to talking with our colleagues. After covering the principals of an organizing conversation, we will have group discussion to practice our skills. Please come ready to contribute!

This event will be ONLINE ONLY hybrid - in-person attendance is encouraged at the Union Office for this month with virtual attendance via Zoom still being an available option. Featured Guest Speak: Oneil Carlier, Regional Representative for Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), will be sharing some stories of his experiences on the picket lines.

Shop Stewards - if you are not able to attend, please register with the Excused Absence option. Doing so will not count this meeting towards your honorarium, but failing to attend too many Shop Steward Assemblies without using the Excused Absence option may lead to being removed as a Shop Steward in accordance with Policy D-3 Failure to Perform Duties of an Elected Position.
