Basic Shop Steward Training is offered to any card-carrying member who has not taken the training before.
If you are scheduled to work during this training, you are eligible for a "leave letter" that allows you to take time off work to attend training, while still receiving your regular wages. A lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary requirements, please ensure you fill out the question when registering.
