Yes!! Tickets are still available at the Union office during business hours (8:00 – 4:30 Monday to Friday) – cash only please!

  1. Hi,
Quick question – If I’m helping a coworker pick up tickets, would I need them to call in to confirm, or would I need to bring anything?

    • Hi,
So long as you provide their full name and/or employee number, we will check their membership status and allow you to purchase tickets on behalf of your coworker if he/she is in good standing.

    • Rebecca Menard says:

Hi Celeste! There sure are tickets left! Come to the office during business hours (8:00 – 4:30) with cash to purchase!!!

  2. Amanda Baross says:

I would like to leave feedback for the Social Committee.

I find it difficult to just “pop by the union office” for various reasons. I hear these same sentiments echoed by other members where I work as well. Can the social committee please consider more convenient ways of purchasing these tickets. Here are a few of my ideas:

    1. E-tickets purchased through an online system where the person purchasing would eat any fees associated with a credit card payment.
    2. E-mail money transfers and pickup at the gate by showing company ID.
    3. E-mail money transfers followed by a date, time, and place for pickup closer to the event, where you cross off names as they pick up.
    4. Sell them for cash at appropriate locations at a set time and place with a few 2 or 3 different dates.
    5. Have someone available at the Union office between 4:30pm-8:30pm, and/or on weekends to sell the tickets.
    6. E-mail money transfer and mail the tickets to the requested address.

That being said I think that it is totally awesome that you guys do this every year and I hope it continues!

Can someone let me know if anyone is planning on doing a ticket run that is from the EPCOR Tower?

  3. Shirley Markwart says:

Where can we get the tickets because I live out of town and I do drive and I would like to get tickets. Your office is closed at 4:30 so I can not make it therein time. Please let me know.

    Thank you

    • Hi Shirley,

Tickets are only being sold out of the Union Office during business hours. You can arrange for someone else to purchase the tickets on your behalf (may I suggest D. Woodham who might be working in the same area as you?).

  4. Hi,

Just wondering, is there any other locations where we can purchase the tickets? Say Employee Service Centre, Edmonton Tower, etc?

    • Hi Erin,

I will reach out to the Social Committee about your inquiry and get back to you. An alternative is you can arrange for someone else to purchase the tickets on your behalf.

  5. Hi there,

My work location is in Southside and hard to travel to CSU office to pick up the tickets soon enough. Can I e-transfer my money so you can hold my tickets, please? I can pick it up sometime later this week (the week of Oct 22).

    Thank you,
    Yisun (780-496-3812)

    • Hi Yisun,

Unfortunately, our office is unable to accept e-transfer payments or hold tickets. If you’re able to come to the Union Office later this week during business hours with cash, I can assure you that tickets will still be available for purchase. We normally don’t sell out until much closer to the event date.

    • Hi Christine,

Similar to previous years, children will receive a small gift, and snacks (such as donuts/pastries) and refreshments (juice, coffee, tea) will be made available to all attendees, children and adults. And of course, each ticket holder will have access to rides subject to park height restrictions.
