Virtual General Membership Meeting | June 23

Posted June 10, 2020

Members, you are invited to an important General Membership Meeting that will be held online via Zoom. The last General Meeting took place on February 4 at the Norwood Legion, when the regularly scheduled January 14 meeting was postponed due to extreme cold conditions. And due to the pandemic, the regularly scheduled April 7 General Meeting was also postponed.

While the Union has so far been providing regular updates to the membership through e-Newsletters (as well as a virtual meeting for Shop Stewards held May 19) during the course of the pandemic, your ‘virtual’ attendance and engagement at the June 23 meeting is essential. The agenda for this meeting will include items that are normally discussed in both the April and June General Meetings and general updates regarding layoffs and recalls. Additional details on agenda items will follow.

Registration and a Membership Card in good standing are required to access the online webinar-style meeting.
