Civic Service Union 52 held two Information Meetings on January 13, 2015 and a ratification vote on Monday and Tuesday, January 12 and 13, 2015 on the proposed 2014 – 2018 Collective Agreement.
The vote was in favour of acceptance. The contract has been ratified.
The City of Edmonton ratified the Collective Agreement.
The City of Edmonton has advised that the 2014 retroactive pay will be processed in pay period 6 for payment on March 31, 2015. Retroactive pay on the new 2015 rates will be processed in pay period 7 for payment on April 14, 2015. The delay is due to the City working through their year-end processes.
Past employees need to apply for their retro pay. A link to the Retro Pay Request Form can be found below along with Frequently Asked Questions. If you are in contact with any former employees who left the employ of the City of Edmonton after December 28, 2013, please ask them to check our website for information on applying for their retro pay. Past employees must apply for retro by April 10, 2015.
Current employees and retired employees will automatically receive their retro pay and do not need to apply.
