March 2023 Shop Steward Training Session (Assembly)

Shop Steward Assembly Meetings are open to all Active Members of CSU 52. Meeting topics are educational based, relating to union and labour relations matters. Meetings are intended to be interactive where possible, and will foster relationship building between Shop Stewards.

This month's topic: Expanding the Shop Steward Knowledge Base. We will examine the current resources that exist for Shop Stewards, discuss edits, and discover where the gaps in resource support exist. As a group, we will begin to collectively construct these new resources, such as a checklist for Shop Stewards. Longtime Shop Stewards, your advice and wisdom will be imperative. New Stewards, your questions and your perspective on where you need support will be vital.

This event will be hybrid - choose to attend virtually via Zoom or in person at the Union Office (limited seating available). For either attendance option, please register through your CSU 52 web account.
