This information is intended for CSU 52 members and for Capital Power Managers who oversee unionized staff falling within the CSU 52 Bargaining Unit at EPCOR Tower and Genesee.

The parties are pleased to confirm that we have reached a Memorandum of Agreement.

The Memorandum of Agreement has been posted on the CSU website (click here *password required*).

Bargaining Update #7

This information is intended for CSU 52 members and for Capital Power Managers who oversee unionized staff falling within the CSU 52 Bargaining Unit at EPCOR Tower and Genesee.

This update has been jointly issued by the Company and the Union. The purpose of this communication is to provide an update on the progress of negotiations. This Bargaining Update communication process will continue throughout the CSU 52 / Capital Power Bargaining process.

The Parties met on November 3rd, 2015 in Edmonton to continue discussions regarding monetary proposals.

The parties are pleased to confirm that we have reached a Memorandum of Agreement

The Memorandum of Agreement is strictly confidential until the information is posted on the CSU website (expected by November 4, 2015).

The Union Information and Ratification Process

Dates and times of these sessions will be confirmed in an upcoming bargaining update.

The Company Information Process

The Company will provide a confidential information session for CSU managers at the end of business on TBD, 2015 to review the Memorandum of Agreement.

Date and time of this session will be confirmed in an upcoming bargaining update.

As a reminder, we have an agreement that the content of discussions at negotiations will be held in confidence including the details of the Memorandum of Agreement that has just been reached between the parties. This confidentiality will be maintained until the information sessions for both parties occur.

Please respect this by NOT asking your bargaining team members about collective bargaining or the details of the Memorandum of Agreement that has been reached between the parties. All bargaining team members will attend the info sessions to answer questions regarding bargaining and the Memorandum of Agreement.

Bargaining Update #6

This update has been jointly issued by the Company and the Union. The purpose of this communication is to provide an update on the progress of negotiations. This Bargaining Update communication process will continue throughout the CSU 52 / Capital Power Bargaining process.

The Parties met in Edmonton on Monday, October 19 and Thursday, October 22, 2015.

The parties continued discussions on all remaining items and exchanged monetary proposals. The parties will continue to review the remaining monetary and non-monetary items at the next meeting.

The next meetings are scheduled for October 29 and November 3, 2015.

As a reminder, the content of discussions at negotiations will be held in confidence until a Memorandum of Agreement is reached. Collective bargaining is a sensitive process, and when dialogue occurs away from the bargaining table, it can jeopardize the success of negotiations.

This update has been jointly issued by the Company and the Union. The purpose of this communication is to provide an update on the progress of negotiations. This Bargaining Update communication process will continue throughout the CSU 52 / Capital Power Bargaining process.

The Parties met in Edmonton on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 8 and 9, 2015.

The parties concluded their initial review and discussion of all monetary items. The parties engaged in honest and open dialogue during the review of these items over the two days. In addition, the parties reached agreement on a number of outstanding non-monetary items. The parties will continue to review the remaining monetary and non-monetary items at the next meeting.

The next meeting is scheduled for September 29, 2015.

As a reminder, the content of discussions at negotiations will be held in confidence until a Memorandum of Agreement is reached. Collective bargaining is a sensitive process, and when dialogue occurs away from the bargaining table, it can jeopardize the success of negotiations.

Bargaining Update #4

This information is intended for CSU 52 members and for Capital Power Managers who oversee unionized staff falling within the CSU 52 Bargaining Unit at EPCOR Tower and Genesee.

This update has been jointly issued by the Company and the Union. The purpose of this communication is to provide an update on the progress of negotiations. This Bargaining Update communication process will continue throughout the CSU 52 / Capital Power Bargaining process.

The Parties met in Edmonton on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14 and 15, 2015.

The parties concluded their review and discussion of all non-monetary items. The parties engaged in honest and open dialogue during the review of these items, and reached agreement on a high majority of these items. Given the significant number of proposals discussed to date, both parties are pleased with progress made to date. Many of the agreed to items to date provide greater clarity and updated language regarding the terms of the collective agreement. The focus of the meetings will now switch to the review and discussion of monetary items. The parties have set an agenda for the monetary items discussion in preparation for the next set of meetings. .

The next set of meetings is scheduled for September 8-9, 2015.

The parties continued discussion on a number of non-monetary proposals over the three days, and reached agreement in principle on a number of these proposals. The parties will review follow up items and continue to discuss remaining Company and Union proposals at the next set of scheduled meetings.

The next set of meetings is scheduled for July 14-15, 2015.
